Therapy fees:
- Clients have the option of paying via medical aid, EFT, cash or SnapScan (please see payments policy below)
Psychometric assessment fees:
- Fees for assessments are charged on an hourly basis for client facing time (intake interview, test administration and feedback). Hours for test administration are capped and there is no charge for report writing or scoring.
- An assessment quotation will be provided as soon as possible after the intake session once assessments needs are clarified. Quoted prices for assessments will be dependent on the inclusions of the package. Please note that extra time may be needed which is charged per hour.
- We do not submit assessment claims to medical aid. Client settles directly with practice and then claims from medical aid thereafter.
- Clients pay 50% of the quotation upfront and 50% on or before the day of the feedback.
- Payment must be received before the final report is given.
Policies
Cancellation policy:
- Stephen please requires 24 hours cancellation notice to enable him to fill your slot. If this is not provided, he unfortunately needs to charge a cancellation fee.
- Missed appointments: Please note that the cancellation fee for missed appointments cannot be claimed through the medical aid as no therapy service was rendered. Responsibility of the bill will fall on you as the client (or parent in the case of minor clients), where you will have 72 hours to settle your account.
Payments policy:
- Medical aid: We can claim on behalf of clients for therapy, but please note that the account is ultimately the responsibility of the client (or parent in the case of minor clients). Should the medical aid reject your claim, we will notify you of this rejection and the responsibility of the bill will then fall on you as the client (or parent in the case of minor clients), where you will have 72 hours to settle your account.
- All EFT payments to be made and proof of payments sent upon receipt of invoice.The proof of payment to be sent to admin@stephenpenneypsychology.
co.za - All cash and SnapScan payments can be made at your appointment.
